Errata MP01-045 & MP01-046

2024.02.27

Hunter's Area (MP01-045) & Alberich, the King of Elves (MP01-046)

We have discovered that as currently printed, neither Hunter's Area (MP01-045) or Alberich, the King of Elves (MP01-046) work as we intended. When a player resolves an effect of an ability or a spell in the chase, that player should resolve each sentence of the effect sequentially, finishing the instructions of each sentence before starting to resolve the next one.

Because of this, resolving the [Enter] ability of Hunter's Area (MP01-045) or Alberich, the King of Elves (MP01-046) would mean that the resonator put into the field this way will trigger its automatic abilities before losing its abilities. That is not what we intended when we developed these cards, so, we are applying the following erratas:

MP01-045 Printed ability

[Enter] >>> Put target resonator from any graveyard into the field under your opponent's control rested. It loses all abilities until end of game. If you do, you may put an Elf resonator with total cost 3 or less from your hand into the field. It gains [Belligerence] until end of turn.

MP01-045 New ability

[Enter] >>> Put target resonator from any graveyard into the field under your opponent's control rested. As it enters the field, it loses all abilities until end of game. If you do, you may put an Elf resonator with total cost 3 or less from your hand into the field. It gains [Belligerence] until end of turn.

MP01-046 Printed ability

[Enter] >>> Look at your opponent's hand. You may choose a resonator from among them and put it into the field under your opponent's control rested. If you do, it loses all abilities and becomes [100/100] until end of game.

MP01-046 New ability

[Enter] >>> Look at your opponent's hand. You may choose a resonator from among them and put it into the field under your opponent's control rested. If you do, it loses all abilities and becomes [100/100] until end of game as it enters the field.
